BEZANSON, Reginald Joseph "Reg" - 40, Hillaton, passed away Thursday, August 24, 2006, at home.
Born in Kentville, he was a son of Ruth (Bird) Bezanson and the late Mr. George Bezanson. Reg was very creative, liked to do carpenter work, was a mechanic, a roofer, and loved doing things with his son, Ryan, who the sun rose and set by. He was the driving force in having family reunions and gatherings and also enjoyed a good cup of Tim Horton's coffee where he would meet and see many of his friends. Reg was self-employed and took great pride in his work and loved seeing the finished project. He truly enjoyed caring for his mother, and fixing up her house making it a loving home brought him great joy.
Besides his mother, Reg is survived by his son, Ryan Reginald George Bezanson, Kentville; sister, Betty LeBlanc, Coldbrook; brothers, Lemuel, Middleton; Carl, Ontario; Charles, Hillaton, and Ian, Windsor, as well as several nieces and nephews, aunts, uncles and cousins.
Besides his father, he was predeceased by brother, Vernon Bezanson in infancy.
Visitation will be held on Sunday, August 27, from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. in Serenity Funeral Home & Crematorium, Port Williams. A memorial service will be held on Monday, August 28, at 2 p.m. in Canning United Baptist Church, Rev. Pamela Estey will officiate. Interment will be in Jaw Bone Corner Cemetery.2

Patricia "Pat" Joy Wirvin, — 83, New Minas, formerly of Greenwich, passed away on July 2nd, 2026 in the Valley Regional Hospital. Born in Wolfville, she was a daughter of the late Phyllis (Davison) and Leslie Bezanson.
Pat was an avid golfer and cherished member of the community at Ken-Wo Golf Club. After beating breast cancer, she volunteered for many years with Breast Cancer Action Nova Scotia, offering her support to those fighting their own battles.
Pat is survived by her sisters, Orlean Sketchley; Grace Garcia; Cheryl (Terry) Stuart; her brother, Perry Davison; four children, Wendy (Eric) Wallace Desplanque; Avard Wallace; Thomas Wallace; Rebecca Wallace; her grandchildren, David (Jody) Tucker, Patricia Epperson, Ryan Wallace; her great-grandchildren Logan Kaminski; Eleanor Kaminski; Rowan Epperson; and Braden Epperson.
She was predeceased by her first husband Lorne Wallace; second husband Brian Wirvin; her sisters, Della Baker; Bernice Dunlop; Mary Lou Luck; Linda MacKie; brothers, Leslie Bezanson Jr; Jack Bezanson; Charlie Davison.
A funeral service followed by a reception will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Sunday, July 26, 2026 in the White Family Funeral Home, Kentville. Interment will be held in the Lower Horton Cemetery, Grand Pre, NS.2
